Ngilngig envisions a cinema that expands the boundaries of the fantastic preserving regional stories, myths, and imaginations while inspiring filmmakers and artists to create bold new voices through film and evolving art forms.

Based in Mindanao, Philippines, the festival focuses on how culture, memory, folklore, and social realities shape contemporary Asian storytelling and regional cinematic practice.
